Token Emissions

As explained in the Tokens section above, certain Tokens, like the primary token $LHU, will have a fixed supply. These Tokens will be emitted into the ecosystem over time via controlled release as Event leaderboard rewards. The rewards for each leaderboard will be announced before the Event in question is launched. As a fixed supply Token, distributed $LHU will be minted. Over time, instead of minting new $LHU to serve as event rewards, we will recirculate $LHU holdings from our Treasury to fund prize purses.

Other Tokens, like Health Potions, will be a circulating supply Token. This means that all players will have a certain amount they can earn per day through play. They can use them on their own heroes to extend play sessions, trade to other players or hodl. Both types of Tokens will have a floating price determined by the market. The game’s difficulty will be monitored and tuned in order to maintain a balanced economy. Health potions exist primarily for their in-game utility and we do not want to create an economy where players are merely farming and hodling a Token class that has no organic demand.
